Guapatinis Show Bar ~ A Night filled with Laughter & Sequins!

If you’re looking for an evening of entertainment that combines live singing, comedy, audience participation and plenty of sparkle, then Guapatinis Show Bar in Puerto del Carmen is well worth adding to your Lanzarote itinerary.

We recently visited at the end of June 2026, and it’s easy to see why the venue has quickly built such a loyal following since opening just over a year ago. Located in Centro Atlántico, Guapatinis currently hosts three shows each week, with the bar opening at 8pm and performances beginning at 9pm every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

We arrived shortly after 8.15pm, giving us plenty of time to settle in with a drink before the show. Drink prices were surprisingly reasonable for a dedicated show venue.

Admission is €20 for adults, and  €15 for children under the age of 14. 

One of the things we particularly liked about Guapatinis is its intimate feel, it has a cosy atmosphere that allows everyone to feel close to the action, making the audience interaction even more enjoyable. There’s full table service throughout the evening, so there’s no need to miss a moment of the show by heading to the bar. The staff were friendly, attentive and kept drinks flowing with a smile, while each table is also treated to complimentary peanuts – a simple touch that adds to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and makes you feel looked after from the moment you arrive.

The undisputed star of the evening is The Contessa Guapatini – a larger-than-life performer who could best be described as a one-person entertainment powerhouse, wrapped in sequins and seemingly sprinkled with fairy dust. From the moment the show begins, the energy never lets up.

Split into three entertaining acts, the performance combines impressive live vocals, fast-paced comedy, witty improvisation and just the right amount of playful audience interaction. The Contessa has an incredible ability to read the room, delivering joke after joke while ensuring everyone feels included rather than singled out. It’s this quick wit and genuine rapport with the audience that makes the evening feel less like watching a show and more like being part of one.

Several audience members were invited to join in during various sketches, creating some of the biggest laughs of the night. We were visiting with a group of friends, including one celebrating her 50th birthday. Much to our amusement—and our relief—it was she who was invited on stage rather than the rest of us! She embraced the moment brilliantly, taking part in one of the evening’s funniest sketches alongside another guest, and it became one of those memories that everyone will be talking about for a long time!

The show finished at around 11.15pm, but the evening didn’t end there. Guests were invited onto the stage afterwards for souvenir photographs with The Contessa, providing the perfect ending to a thoroughly enjoyable night.

Our evening held one final surprise. After most guests had left, we had the chance to chat with The Contessa, who kindly treated us to a sneak preview of the opening number from an exciting brand-new show currently in development. Even from those few minutes, it was clear that audiences are in for another spectacular production. If you’ve already visited Guapatinis before, there’s every reason to return once the new show launches, I certainly know I’ll be back to see it.

One of the things that really stands out about Guapatinis is how adaptable the show is. Having visited previously with children, I’ve seen first-hand how The Contessa naturally adjusts the humour to suit the audience, keeping it fun, inclusive and family-friendly. On evenings where the audience is made up entirely of adults, the comedy becomes a little cheekier, but always remains good-natured and entertaining.

Whether you’re holidaying as a family, enjoying a romantic break, celebrating a birthday, travelling with friends or simply looking for a memorable evening out in Puerto del Carmen, Guapatini´s offers something refreshingly different. It’s a show full of laughter, music, audience interaction and personality, delivered by a performer who clearly loves what they do.

Every one of us left smiling, and every one of us agreed we’d happily go back.
