The Beach Pub ~ Everyone´s Favourite Local in the Sun

If you’re looking for somewhere to simply unwind with a drink and soak up the atmosphere of Puerto del Carmen, The Beach Pub is one of those places that quickly feels familiar.

There’s something comforting about The Beach Pub. It has the feel of your favourite local back home, but with blue skies, palm trees and the Atlantic Ocean replacing the usual view. It’s somewhere you can catch up with friends, meet new people or simply enjoy a quiet drink while watching the world go by.

The first thing we noticed during our visit was the genuinely warm welcome. The staff are exceptional – always smiling, happy to chat, and they make everyone feel at home. What really stood out was the number of people who returned while we were there. It was obvious many were repeat visitors, with the staff greeting them like family, sharing a joke or picking up conversations as though they’d never left. That kind of rapport can’t be faked; it’s built over time, and it’s easy to see why so many people make The Beach Pub a regular stop whenever they’re in Lanzarote.

During our visit we sampled a few of the cocktails, and the mojito was a particular highlight. Freshly made to order, it was light, refreshing and exactly what you’d hope for on a warm Lanzarote afternoon. Alongside cocktails, there’s a great choice of beers, wines, spirits, coffees and soft drinks, plus crisps and Pringles if you fancy a nibble. All at reasonable prices for a seafront location.

Unlike many bars on the seafront, there are no sports screens or loud commentaries competing for your attention. Instead, there’s a great playlist providing the soundtrack to your holiday, allowing you to enjoy the sea views, a spot of people watching, the sunshine and the relaxing sound of the waves.

The Beach Pub has also become a favourite meeting point along the promenade. Friends arrange to meet here before heading out for the evening, couples stop by for a sunset drink, and many holidaymakers make it their first or last stop of the day. It has that relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where it’s easy to settle in for one drink and end up staying much longer.

The Beach Pub is located on the seafront of Puerto del Carmen, its open daily from 9.30am until 1am and is simply about friendly people, great drinks and an atmosphere that keeps visitors coming back year after year. After spending some time there ourselves, it’s easy to understand why so many holidaymakers return as soon as they’re back in Puerto del Carmen.
