Lanzarote Weather Forecast for Week Commencing 31st August

Lanzarote is heading into another warm week, with the latest AEMET forecast for Tías showing daytime temperatures rising from around 30°C at the beginning of the week to 33°C on Friday. 

A warm week is expected, with generally dry conditions. Some cloud and a small chance of rain are possible at times, but significant rainfall is not currently expected.”

For anyone visiting Puerto del Carmen, Tías or Lanzarote this week, the forecast points towards warm weather with plenty of opportunities for beaches, sightseeing and exploring the island. The main consideration is likely to be the northerly wind, particularly around the middle of the week, when AEMET currently shows the strongest gust potential.

UV levels are also high, with AEMET currently showing a maximum UV index of 9 from Monday through Thursday, so sun protection remains important even when cloud is present. 

This forecast is based on the AEMET forecast for the Tías / Puerto del Carmen area. As Lanzarote has several microclimates, weather conditions and temperatures can vary between different parts of the island, particularly inland, coastal and northern locations. Forecasts may change as the week approaches and more up-to-date data becomes available.
