Binter Adds More Than 4,000 Extra Seats for the November Long Weekend

Travelling between Lanzarote and the other Canary Islands over the November long weekend? Binter has increased its inter-island flight programme to help manage the expected rise in demand, adding more than 4,000 seats on the busiest departure and return days. The extra capacity is being introduced for the Todos los Santos (All Saints’ Day) holiday period. This year, 1 November falls on a Sunday and the public holiday is observed on Monday 2 November, creating a longer weekend for people planning to visit family, take a short break or travel to another island.

More flights across the Canary Islands

Binter’s special programme runs from Friday 30 October to Monday 2 November 2026. Across the four days, the airline is scheduled to operate 942 inter-island flights, offering a total of 69,562 seats. The additional capacity is concentrated on the main travel days: Friday 30 October, Saturday 31 October and Monday 2 November. Across those three dates, Binter is adding 4,010 seats compared with its usual programme. The published daily schedule is: • Friday 30 October: 274 flights and 20,160 seats – around 8% more seats than a typical Friday. • Saturday 31 October: 232 flights and 17,500 seats – around 7% more than a typical Saturday. • Sunday 1 November: 186 flights and 13,466 seats. • Monday 2 November: 250 flights and 18,436 seats – around 8% more than a typical Monday.

Lanzarote–Tenerife connection receives extra capacity

For Lanzarote residents and visitors, one of the most relevant changes is the increase on the connection between Lanzarote and Tenerife North. Binter’s plan includes 566 additional seats on this route over the reinforced programme. Other routes also receive a boost, including Gran Canaria–La Palma, which gains 576 extra seats. Connections linking Gran Canaria with El Hierro and Tenerife South each receive 292 additional seats. There are also increases on Tenerife North–El Hierro and Fuerteventura–Tenerife North.

Why the extra flights matter

Inter-island flights are an important part of getting around the Canary Islands, whether you live here, are visiting family, or want to combine more than one island during a holiday. Extra capacity over a busy weekend can provide more choice at popular departure and return times, particularly for people making short trips. However, additional seats do not mean every flight will have availability, and prices can vary according to demand, route and booking date. Anyone planning to travel should check the latest timetable and fares directly with Binter before making arrangements. Flight schedules can change, so passengers should also confirm their flight details before heading to the airport.

How to check Binter flights

Passengers can check availability and book through Binter’s official website at bintercanarias.com, the airline’s app, its telephone booking service, travel agencies or airport ticket offices. Check the conditions attached to the fare before purchasing, including any rules for changes and baggage. For anyone planning a November break from Lanzarote, the message is simple: there is extra inter-island capacity for the long weekend, but it is still worth booking early and checking the latest information before travelling.
