Lava Live Festival Wins Over Fans as Satisfaction Reaches Record High
Lava Live Festival has strengthened its reputation as one of Lanzarote’s biggest annual events, with a new attendee survey revealing exceptionally high satisfaction levels and an overwhelming desire among festival-goers to return in the future.
According to an independent survey carried out among 400 festival attendees aged 16 and over, the 2026 edition received an impressive average rating of 9.5 out of 10. Even more notably, 98.8% of those surveyed said they would definitely or probably attend another edition of the festival, highlighting the growing popularity of the event.
Another Successful Year for Lava Live Festival
Held across two summer weekends in Arrecife, Lava Live Festival has quickly become one of the standout music festivals in the Canary Islands, attracting both residents and visitors with a diverse line-up featuring international stars alongside Spanish artists.
This year’s programme included performances from artists such as Juan Luis Guerra, Ana Mena, Nicky Jam, Nathy Peluso, Leiva, Hombres G and many more, helping cement Lanzarote’s growing reputation as a destination for major live entertainment.
Organisation Receives the Highest Praise
When attendees were asked what impressed them most, the organisation of the festival was the most frequently mentioned positive aspect.
Visitors also gave extremely high scores for:
- Overall atmosphere
- Live music performances
- Security
- Accessibility and venue access
- Cleanliness throughout the festival site
The results suggest organisers have made noticeable improvements since the previous edition, particularly regarding access to the venue, which had been highlighted as an area needing attention in earlier feedback.
Visitors Continue to Discover Lanzarote
While most festival-goers were Lanzarote residents, the survey also showed that the event continues to attract visitors from other Canary Islands and tourists from further afield.
Almost half of those questioned were attending Lava Live Festival for the first time, demonstrating that the event is continuing to reach new audiences each year while also retaining loyal supporters.
One Area Still Needs Improvement
Despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback, the survey did identify one issue that organisers may wish to address ahead of future editions.
Parking received the lowest satisfaction score, with some attendees also suggesting additional shaded seating areas would improve the experience during the warmer parts of the day.
However, the majority of respondents said they felt the festival already provided everything they needed during their visit.
Boosting Lanzarote’s Events Calendar
Since launching just a few years ago, Lava Live Festival has grown into one of the island’s flagship events. Alongside providing world-class entertainment, it also helps showcase Lanzarote as a destination capable of hosting large-scale international festivals.
For tourists planning a summer holiday, the festival offers another reason to visit beyond the island’s beaches, volcanic landscapes and year-round sunshine, while residents benefit from an increasingly varied calendar of cultural and live music events.
With satisfaction ratings at record levels and nearly every attendee saying they would return, expectations are already high for the 2027 edition.
