Puerto del Carmen Funfair 2026: Dates, Discount Night and Autism-Friendly Sessions

The annual Puerto del Carmen Funfair has returned as part of the Fiestas del Carmen, bringing a fantastic mix of rides, attractions and family entertainment to the resort for both residents and holidaymakers.

Located at the fairground in Puerto del Carmen, the fair is running from Monday 27 July until Sunday 9 August 2026, giving visitors almost two weeks to enjoy everything from children’s rides to thrill attractions and traditional fairground games.

Discount Night

If you’re planning a visit and want to make the most of your money, Thursday is the best night to go.

The fair traditionally holds its Día del Niño (Children’s Day) on Thursday, when many of the rides operate at reduced prices, making it the most affordable evening for families. It’s always one of the busiest nights, so arriving early is a good idea.

Autism-Friendly Sessions

This year, the Ayuntamiento de Tías has introduced new measures to make the fair more inclusive than ever before.

On Monday 27 July and Monday 3 August, between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm, visitors will find a dedicated Support Point staffed by professionals from the SentirTE association, alongside a Calm Space where autistic people and anyone needing a quieter environment can take a break from the noise and activity.

In addition, the celebrations include inclusive sessions with reduced lighting and lower noise levels, helping children and adults with autism and other sensory sensitivities enjoy the attractions in a more comfortable environment.

A Great Family Attraction

Whether you’re looking for adrenaline-filled rides, children’s attractions, classic fairground games or simply the atmosphere of the annual Fiestas del Carmen, the Puerto del Carmen Funfair remains one of the highlights of the summer calendar.

If you’re travelling with young children, Thursday’s discounted rides offer the best value, while the autism-friendly sessions and dedicated calm space make the event more welcoming and accessible for everyone than ever before.
