Teguise’s Noche Blanca Returns Tonight – Free Buses, Live Entertainment and a Night to Remember

Teguise’s historic streets will come alive tonight (Friday, 26 June) as one of Lanzarote’s biggest cultural celebrations returns for another unforgettable evening.

The annual Noche Blanca transforms the island’s former capital into a giant open-air festival, with thousands of residents and visitors expected to enjoy live music, street performances, local gastronomy, art exhibitions, family entertainment, cultural experiences and late-night shopping.

Organisers are once again encouraging everyone attending to dress in white, adding to the unique atmosphere that has made Noche Blanca one of Lanzarote’s most popular annual events.

Running from around 4:00pm until the early hours, the event will see every corner of La Villa filled with entertainment. Multiple stages will host live concerts throughout the evening, while artists, performers and local businesses help create an unforgettable atmosphere in the island’s historic centre. This year’s programme also includes children’s activities, exhibitions, interactive experiences, fashion, traditional Canarian music and food and drink from local businesses.

Free Special Bus Service

To help reduce traffic and make travelling easier, the Cabildo de Lanzarote, together with the Ayuntamiento de Teguise and Intercity Bus, has arranged a special bus service between Arrecife and Teguise.

Extra Line 7 buses will operate from late afternoon on Friday until the early hours of Saturday morning, allowing visitors to enjoy the event without worrying about parking. Return services will continue after midnight to help people get safely back to Arrecife. Travellers are advised to check the latest timetable before setting off, as additional departures have been scheduled specifically for the event.

A Great Night for Tourists and Residents

Whether you’re visiting Lanzarote on holiday or have lived on the island for years, Noche Blanca offers a fantastic opportunity to experience the island’s culture in a completely different way.

The charming cobbled streets of Teguise provide the perfect backdrop for an evening of music, entertainment and local hospitality, with many shops, cafés and restaurants staying open later than usual.

If you’re planning to attend, it’s worth arriving early as the event attracts large crowds every year.
