Worker Rescued After Becoming Stranded Eight Metres Above Ground in Arrecife
Lanzarote firefighters were called into action after a worker carrying out fumigation work in Arrecife became stranded approximately eight metres above the ground when the elevated platform he was using became stuck.
The incident occurred while the worker was carrying out fumigation work in Calle Juan de Quesada, Arrecife, during the night of Monday, 20 July.
According to information released following the incident, the worker had been operating from the basket of a vehicle equipped with a hydraulic lifting arm when the elevated equipment became blocked.
