Lanzarote lottery luck: €53,780 Bonoloto prize lands in San Bartolomé
A Bonoloto ticket validated in Lanzarote has won €53,780.52 in the latest draw, giving San Bartolomé a welcome slice of lottery luck.
The winning ticket was registered at Receptor No. 44,790 on Diseminado Carretera de Arrecife, 39, in San Bartolomé. The prize relates to the Bonoloto draw held on Wednesday 23 September 2026.
This is a second-category Bonoloto prize, meaning the ticket matched five of the six main winning numbers plus the Complementario. The winning combination was 11, 23, 28, 34, 37 and 46, with 30 drawn as the Complementario and 3 as the Reintegro.
Three tickets across Spain achieved the second category in this draw, each receiving €53,780.52. The other two were validated in Mota del Cuervo in Cuenca and Madrid.
The biggest prize of the night was considerably larger. One ticket matched all six main numbers and won €1,173,384. That first-category ticket was validated in Málaga.
What does the Lanzarote Bonoloto win mean?
For San Bartolomé, the news is another reminder that lottery prizes can turn up in the most ordinary places. The winning ticket was not a national jackpot winner, but more than €53,000 is still a substantial prize for one Bonoloto ticket.
The Bonoloto is one of Spain's daily lottery games, and draws are held every day of the week. Players select numbers from 1 to 49, with the main prize requiring all six numbers to match. There are also lower prize categories, including five numbers, four numbers and three numbers, as well as the Complementario and Reintegro.
According to Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, a standard Bonoloto bet costs €0.50, although a ticket participating in just one draw must contain at least two bets, making the minimum cost €1. The lottery also offers multiple-bet options.
Could the winner be a local resident or a visitor?
There is no public information identifying the person who bought the winning ticket, so it is not known whether the lucky player lives in Lanzarote or was visiting the island.
If you think you have won a Bonoloto prize
Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket should keep the original ticket safe and verify the result through an official Loterías y Apuestas del Estado channel or an authorised lottery outlet.
For prizes above €2,000, SELAE states that the winning ticket holder must provide details of a bank account in their own name for payment, and the claim must be made within three months of the final draw in which the ticket participated.
Lottery prizes in Spain are also subject to a special tax. The Spanish Tax Agency currently states that the first €40,000 of an eligible lottery prize is exempt, with a 20% tax rate applying to the amount above that threshold. The exact amount received after tax can therefore differ from the advertised prize.
A lucky day for Lanzarote
The €53,780.52 Bonoloto prize is unlikely to change the way San Bartolomé looks to most people, but somewhere on Lanzarote there is now a ticket holder with a very good reason to celebrate.
For residents, it is another local lottery success story. For visitors, it is a reminder to check those Spanish lottery tickets before heading home — your holiday souvenir could be worth rather more than expected.
