Where Can You Find the Cheapest Petrol in Lanzarote Right Now?
Lanzarote petrol prices have been checked – and one fuel station is currently standing out from the rest.
If you’re driving around Lanzarote, whether you’re a resident commuting to work or a visitor exploring the island in a hire car, it can pay to know where to find the cheapest petrol.
Fuel prices can vary noticeably between stations, even within the same town, and the difference can add up when you’re filling a larger tank.
We have checked the latest available Gasolina 95 prices in Lanzarote, using data sourced from the Spanish Ministry responsible for energy. The latest figures available were updated on 21 August 2026.
And at the moment, one station is considerably cheaper than most of its competitors.
The cheapest petrol in Lanzarote right now
The current cheapest 95-octane petrol we found is at PLENERGY in Arrecife, where Gasolina 95 is listed at:
€1.377 per litre
There are two PLENERGY listings on Calle León y Castillo in Arrecife, and both are currently showing the same price.
The stations are also listed as being open 24 hours, which is an added bonus for drivers who need to fill up outside normal opening hours.
At €1.377 per litre, filling a 50-litre tank would cost approximately €68.85.
That’s currently one of the most attractive petrol prices available anywhere on Lanzarote.
Macher is another excellent option

Why is petrol relatively cheap in Lanzarote?
Visitors often notice that fuel prices in Lanzarote and the Canary Islands can be lower than prices they are accustomed to paying in mainland Spain or elsewhere in Europe.
One reason is the Canary Islands’ special tax regime. The islands have different taxation arrangements from mainland Spain, including the use of IGIC rather than mainland VAT and a separate taxation system for fuels.
However, that doesn’t mean all petrol stations charge the same.
Competition between companies, location and individual pricing strategies mean that two stations only a few kilometres apart can sometimes have noticeably different prices.
With fuel prices changing regularly, today’s cheapest station isn’t guaranteed to remain tomorrow’s cheapest.
