Woman Revived After Cardiac Arrest on Boat in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote

A major emergency response unfolded in Puerto del Carmen on Friday after a 30-year-old woman suffered cardiac arrest aboard a boat arriving at the harbour in Lanzarote.

According to local emergency reports, the vessel arrived at the La Tiñosa harbour area in Puerto del Carmen at around 1:15pm requesting urgent medical assistance. Emergency responders from Emerlan and the Canary Islands Emergency Service rushed to the scene after the woman was found unconscious onboard.

Medical teams immediately began CPR and advanced resuscitation procedures on the pontoon after confirming the woman was in cardiorespiratory arrest. After intensive efforts, responders successfully restored her pulse before transporting her in critical condition to Hospital Doctor José Molina Orosa in Arrecife.

Authorities including the Local Police of Tías, Guardia Civil, port security teams and Canary Ports also attended the emergency. Officials have not yet released further information regarding the cause of the incident.
